G.W. Lunt & Son is incorporated in Birmingham’s Jewelry Quarter
1960
G.W. Lunt & Son specialises in casting intricately detailed pieces using investment casting for lost wax moulds.
1973
The company moves to a new premises in Handsworth, Birmingham, where we still are today. The larger building supports a period of growth into the early 2000s.
2018
With the directors retiring Lunt’s Castings comes under new management and an ambitious refurbishment project is begun.
2019
Having modernised the entire business, from a new roof to computer systems we look to the future and enjoy new success.
We start developing our blend of traditional and modern techniques, such as using 3D printing as a base for hand sculpting.
2023
We launch our debut collection of sculpture and homewares. Designed to bring the quality and timelessness of hand cast bronze to a wider audience.
We also expand our office staff to better support both artists and trade customers.
